๐ Yes, STEM Plus Art offers tuition-free learning for deserving youth in underserved communities after a $49 per project enrollment fee for coding and content creation students to cover account setup. Music tutoring is completely free and does not require a setup fee. ๐ก Operating costs are a big deal on our end. This is why we count on community support to keep our projects going! ๐ ๐ธ We're a 501(c)(3)! Which means donations not only make a difference, they also give donors a much deserved tax-break!

๐ Because we are a youth-led organization all volunteers must be enrolled in a high school or college program pursing STEAM as a highschool pathway, private discpline, trade school certification, or college degree. ๐ข Ages 16-24 for eligibility. ๐ If under the age of 18, parental consent is required to tutor. ๐ Must be able to verify academic and STEAM excellence. ๐จ๐๐ผ๐ CONTENT CREATION CODING ACADEMIC SUPPORT TUTORS! STEM Plus Art provides tutors with guided lesson plans for STEAM fun-learning in Canva, Minecraft, and WeVideo. ๐จ๐ถ๐ค MUSIC TUTORS! ๐ Young musicians share or receive their material before their scheduled lesson for personalized support! Music Sessions are simple: students play, tutors give great advice. ๐ต๐ Some students are new to music performance, but no worries! We have a plan for new learners!
Elgible volunteers must come trained-to-go in their chosen project field. Along the way, active volunteers gain FREE access to weekly masterclasses and workshops (September - June) to help them shine as impactful youth leaders and project managers!

๐ โ๏ธ Year Round ๐ท ๐๏ธ ๐ Create a flexible 1-on-1 tutoring schedule Monday - Sunday. OR ๐ During the School year ๐ท ๐ Facilitate group sessionsย afterschool 3:30 - 5:30 pm EST! ๐ฅ You will have access to guided support and masterclasses on Sundays during the fall and spring school semesters from 4 pm - 6 pm. Attendance receives 2 service hours credit. Additional opportunities to gain more service hours will be announced on a rolling basis.

Volunteer hours are divided into (5) areas to ensure diverse skill development! ๐งโ๐ซ Teaching: You'll get to lead fun video chats with young STEAM enthusiasts! ๐ Project Management: Mentors guide you through a plan to help you strategize and showcase your students' progress at the end of each semester. ๐ค Outreach: Engage with the community to gather support for our organization. ๐ Empathy: Connect with students, parents, and the community to understand how we can better serve them. ๐ Collaboration: Connect online with other STEAMers to engage in fun projects that help make a difference!

๐ Volunteer students aged 16 - 24 are eligible to apply for the STEM+Art Leadership Scholarship! โ Award amounts vary (To be announced...) Requirements: ๐ Meets various merit-based goals during service journey. ๐ Maintains a weighted GPA of 3.0+ ๐ฌ Plans to major in a STEAM field including business. ๐ Must be PVSA Silver, Bronze, or Gold Award eligible at the time of application. Scholarships are open year round based on eligibility.

๐ธSTEM Plus Art provides tuition-free fun learning in exchange for weekly participation and commitment to each project leading up to presentation day which occurs at the end of each school semester. ๐ Parents are responsible for student account set up. Please visit our student application to create your student's account.
๐ Parent/Caregives residing in the the Atlanta Metro Area verify their student(s) particpate in Title I elementary or middle school learning! ๐ฃ English fluency. ๐ค Parent/Guardain, student(s), and tutor attend a meet and greet with tutor for the first lesson to set goals and ensure proper take off! ๐ When booking a lesson! Kids get your parent/caregiver to apply and book online for you.

๐ STEM Plus Art hosts virtual showcase opportunties during the holidays, springtime, and back-to-school events! We aim for motivated students to achieve addtional opportunities throughout the year with partnering programs and other supportive organizations.
